The Daily Beat - November 11, 2025 πŸ“ˆ

Earnings season is the heartbeat of the market - and every day brings fresh signals about where money is flowing.

With each report, we learn not just how companies are performing, but how investors are reacting.

In the Daily Beat, we spotlight the most important S&P 500 earnings moves from the prior session - the winners, the losers, and the reactions that reveal what really matters to the market right now.

Whether it’s a bellwether with broad economic implications or a niche name making waves, we cut through the noise to focus on the setups that matter most.

Here are the latest earnings stats from the S&P 500 πŸ‘‡

Monday's only earnings reaction came from Tyson Foods $TSN, one of the largest U.S. meat producers. The company had mixed headline results and a slightly positive reaction score.

In the report, they posted revenues of $13.86B, below the expected $14.11B, and earnings per share beat by 31 cents.

Now let's dive into the fundamentals and technicals  πŸ‘‡

TSN has been rewarded for six of its last eight earnings reports πŸ”₯

Tyson Foods had a +2.3% post-earnings reaction, and here's what happened:

  • Chicken sales increased 3.8% year-over-year with record profitability.
  • Beef sales were up 4.3% year-over-year, but the margins were compressed due to sky-high cattle prices.
  • In addition, the management team issued strong guidance for 2026.

Over the past two years, the market has consistently rewarded shareholders for the company's earnings events. This only happens if the company is doing something right.

Zooming out on the technicals, the stock has carved out a prolonged potential distribution pattern. However, based on the consistent positive earnings reactions, we don't think this is a massive top.

We expect the buyers to continue supporting the stock at the lower bound of this well-defined range and eventually push it toward the upper bound.

So long as TSN holds above 45, the path of least resistance is sideways for the foreseeable future.

Stay safe out there
