🔎 Mapping the Global Markets

📊 Daily ETF Overview

International markets have offered investors no shortage of opportunities this year — the first of many to come.

Throughout the year, we’ve spotlighted individual countries. But today, we’re zooming out to take a bird’s-eye view of global markets and visualize how they’ve been rewarding investors.

Here’s how it works: each country on the map is shaded by its most recent color in the Power Rankings. For example, Vietnam ($VNM) shows up as dark green because that’s its latest ranking. These colors come directly from our custom relative strength ranking system.

Let’s start with Europe.

Spain, Italy, Poland, Austria, and Greece stand out as clear leaders. You can see just how much these country ETFs dominate the continent.

Now on to Asia.

China is the big driver here, but Vietnam, Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan are also showing strong signs of life.

Finally, the Americas.

Notice all the green across the globe — yet the U.S. stands out for how average it looks in comparison. While many countries are deep green, the United States shows up as light orange, signaling middle-of-the-pack performance.

This global perspective makes one thing clear: being selective in U.S. markets is more important than ever. Nowhere is that truer than in retail, where tariffs and the ongoing trade war are hitting stocks in ways we’ve never seen before.

That’s why retail expert Jeff Macke is going live to share his Q4 holiday shopping season playbook. He’ll walk you through his newest retail portfolios and reveal which companies have targets on their backs.
